The main objectives of ODEPA

In line with its mission, ODEPA has set the following key objectives to provide sustainable support for the development of the African handicrafts sector

the identification, organization, and promotion of the crafts sector

la mise en place des programmes ainsi que des actions de formation adaptés, dans le domaine de la technologie, de l’innovation, de la commercialisation et de la gestion

the organization of raw material supply chains to improve competitiveness

the organization of collection routes and the distribution of handicraft products

securing the necessary funding to implement the various projects

improving production (quality and innovation) and seeking new markets both domestically and internationally

the establishment of a social protection system tailored to the sector's stakeholders.
